Ohio State was well-represented on Pro Football Focus’ ranking of the top 101 players in 2022, with seven Buckeyes put on the list on Friday.

Wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. and quarterback C.J. Stroud led the way, with Harrison checking in at No. 6 and Stroud coming in at No. 7. Harrison finished with 1,263 yard and 14 touchdowns, hauling in the largest share of Stroud’s 3,688 passing yards and 41 passing touchdowns.

Two more members of the offense were up next, with offensive tackle Paris Johnson Jr. at No. 47 and wide receiver Emeka Egbuka at No. 50. Johnson allowed only two sacks and 14 pressures across 827 snaps this season, while Egbuka was second on the team in receiving behind Harrison with 1,151 yards and 10 touchdowns.

The lone defensive player on the list was linebacker Tommy Eichenberg, who landed at No. 63. He finished with 120 tackles for the Buckeyes and was among PFF’s top-five run defenders.

The remaining Buckeyes on the list were on the offensive line, with center Luke Wypler at No. 83 and offensive tackle Dawand Jones at No. 86. Wypler was the fifth-highest graded center in the country, allowing just eight pressures across 827 snaps. Jones, meanwhile, did not allow a single sack of Stroud this season while turning in a dominant performance in run blocking.
