Recruiting Outlook: Keon Keeley Attending Notre Dame Game, 247Sports Releases Top 100 For 2025

Recruiting Outlook is a regular series on Buckeye Sports Bulletin designed to be your one-stop shop for all news related to the Ohio State football recruiting trail.

According to several reports, Tampa (Fla.) Berkley Prep five-star defensive end Keon Keeley (6-6, 242) will take an official visit to Ohio State for the Buckeyes’ matchup with Notre Dame on Sept. 3.

Keeley is the No. 7 overall prospect and top defensive end in the class of 2023. Along with Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco five-star defensive end Matayo Uiagelelei (6-5, 265), Keeley is one of the top remaining targets in Ohio State’s class following his recent decommitment from Notre Dame.

This will be Keeley’s second trip to Columbus after visiting Ohio State in the spring. The Buckeyes are in a battle with Alabama, where Keeley also has a visit scheduled for this fall, and Florida.

Ohio State currently has two defensive line commitments in 2023, with Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha Catholic four-star Jason Moore (6-6, 255) and Dublin (Ohio) Coffman three-star Will Smith Jr. (6-3, 260) already pledged to the class.
