Rebeka Mikulasikova To Miss Big Ten Tournament For Ohio State

Ohio State will head into the Big Ten tournament without one of its key contributors off the bench.

Freshman forward Rebeka Mikulasikova did not travel and will miss the tournament with an ankle injury, according to an Ohio State spokesman.

Mikulasikova is No. 6 on the team in scoring with 7.7 points per game, but is the Buckeyes’ most efficient shooter, both overall (50.3 percent) and from three (46.3 percent).

Without Mikulasikova, Ohio State only has three forwards who have played in the majority of games: sophomores Dorka Juhasz and Aaliyah Patty, as well as freshman Aixa Wone.

Mikulasikova also started out the season hampered by injury, but that was a foot injury and not related to the current ankle issue.
