Ohio State Women’s Basketball Adds Commitment From 2024 Forward Seini Hicks
Cincinnati West Clermont forward Seini Hicks announced Monday that she has committed to Ohio State, becoming the first member of the Buckeyes’ 2024 recruiting class.
The six-foot forward posted averages of 13.0 points and 10.0 rebounds last season for West Clermont, helping lead the Wolves to a 24-1 record and a 16-0 record within the Eastern Cincinnati Conference. She did so on 42.1 percent shooting while adding 2.4 steals, 1.5 assists and 1.4 blocks per game, earning second-team All-Ohio honors.
Hicks visited Ohio State in September and was offered at that time. She started playing at West Clermont last season after playing two years at Julius Chambers High School in Charlotte, N.C., where she won a pair of state championships.
She is the brother of West Clermont wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. (6-5, 185), a 2026 football prospect who was offered by Ohio State last summer.
