Ohio State To Host First And Second Round NCAA Tournament Games As Top-Four Seed

The NCAA selection committee revealed the top-16 teams in its bracket on Saturday, and Ohio State’s women’s basketball team was included, meaning it will get to host first and second round games.
The inclusion in the top-16 comes after the Buckeyes went 26-7, and made the semifinals of the Big Ten Tournament before losing 72-62 to UCLA.
The committee did not reveal exactly what seed Ohio State will be in the NCAA Tournament, but many have it projected as either a No. 3 or 4 seed.
The Buckeyes have played at home to open the NCAA Tournament every year since 2022-23, but have been knocked out of the second round of the tournament in each of the past two seasons.
Ohio State will figure out what seed it is and who its first-round opponent will be tomorrow on Selection Sunday. ESPN will reveal the entire bracket at 8 p.m.
