Ohio State Running Back Sam Dixon Reportedly Planning To Enter Transfer Portal

After two seasons with Ohio State, running back Sam Dixon has announced his intention to enter the transfer portal, according to Lettermen Row.
A product of Pickerington North High School, Dixon joined the Buckeyes as a three-star recruit in the class of 2023.
Dixon appeared in three games in the 2024 season before he ultimately redshirted his freshman year. The second-year running back earned touches in five games during his career at Ohio State, taking 10 carries for 62 yards and one touchdown.
The 5-11, 205-pound running back also entered the transfer portal following the 2024 season, before returning to Ohio State for his redshirt freshman campaign.
Dixon is the fifth player on Ohio State to announce his decision to enter the transfer portal on Thursday, and the seventh overall Buckeye to leave.
