Ohio State Remains at No. 1 In Latest AP Poll 

For the 11th straight week Ohio State ranked atop the Associated Press’ weekly top 25 rankings. 

Following the Buckeyes 34-10 win over Purdue in West Lafayette, Ind., Ohio State earned 55 of the total 65 first place votes to remain No. 1 the the AP Poll. There was no movement in top five moved as No. 2 Indiana (six first place votes), No. 3 Texas A&M (four), No. 4 Alabama and No. 5 Georgia trailed the Buckeyes. No. 6 Ole Miss, No. 7 Oregon, No. 8 Texas Texas, No. 9 Notre Dame and No. 10 Texas rounded out the top 10.

No. 12 BYU fell four spots from No. 8 after they were dominated 29-7 by Texas Tech. Louisville fell five spots to No. 19 following a 29-26 overtime loss to 6-4 California, while Virginia fell eight positions to No. 20 after the Cavaliers were beaten 16-9 by Wake Forest. 

With a 38-7 thrashing at the hands of No. 3 Texas A&M, No. 19 Missouri fell out of the top 25, while formerly No. 22 Memphis and No. 24 Washington also dropped out of the rankings after losses to Tulane and Wisconsin, respectively. 

No. 23 Pittsburgh and No. 24, James Madison entered the AP Poll for the first time this season, while No. 25 South Florida returned to the top 25 after falling out two weeks ago.
