The Ohio State men’s basketball team jumped two spots to No. 23 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll.

The Scarlet and Gray look destined to drop out of the top 25 after a loss at No. 18 Iowa, but they bounced back in a big way with a gutsy win against No. 9 Maryland.

After beating the ninth-ranked Terrapins, the Buckeyes improved to 18-9 overall and 8-8 in the Big Ten. Ohio State is the fifth-highest ranked team in the conference.
