Ohio State Kicker Blake Haubeil Will Enter NFL Draft

Senior kicker Blake Haubeil announced on Twitter Saturday that he will be leaving Ohio State to enter the 2021 NFL Draft.

“Football embodies so many things to me,” Haubeil wrote, “Sportsmanship, family, brotherhood, love, passion, sacrifice and so much more. It has provided me with unimaginable opportunities. I will forever cherish the relationships I have created with coaches, teammates, students, fans, and all of Buckeye Nation.

“I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to announce that I am declaring for the 2021 NFL Draft.”

Haubeil connected on five of his seven field-goal attempts in 2020, with a long of 43 yards. He also made all 24 of his extra-point tries in a season where the senior kicker dealt with a groin injury and missed the national championship against Alabama due to a positive COVID-19 test.

Over his collegiate career, Haubeil hit 28 of his 35 field goals, including a long of 55 yards against Northwestern in 2019. He made all 146 point-after attempts.
