Ohio State Freshman Safety Faheem Delane To Enter Transfer Portal, According To Report

Ohio State freshman safety Faheem Delane is entering the transfer portal, according to a report from On3.
Delane, a 6-1, 210-pound safety, earned a solid chunk of playing time in his only year with the Buckeyes. Appearing in 13 games this year, Delane totaled 12 tackles, including one for loss. He was a backup at safety behind starters like Jaylen McClain and Caleb Downs, but it wasn’t for a lack of talent.
Out of high school, Delane was viewed as a four-star prospect, ranked as the No. 55 overall player in the country, the No. 5 safety and the No. 2 player from Maryland.
Delane joins Malik Hartford and Keenan Nelson Jr. as the third Ohio State safety to enter the transfer portal. He will have three years of eligibility remaining at his next school.
