Ohio State Freshman Offensive Tackle Carter Lowe Sheds Black Stripe

The 16th member of Ohio State’s class of 2025, freshman offensive tackle Carter Lowe, has had his black stripe removed after Wednesday’s practice.

Lowe, a former four-star prospect, has yet to see significant time for Ohio State, though he has made appearances in the Buckeyes’ wins over Grambling State and Purdue.

The Toledo native was ranked as the No. 72 player in the class of 2025, the No. 14 offensive tackle and the third ranked player in Ohio.

Lowe is the Buckeyes’ second offensive tackle in a row to have his black stripe removed, joining redshirt freshman transfer Justin Terry, who shed his black stripe on Nov. 19.
