Ohio State Football Graduates 13, Thornton Among 42 Athlete Graduates

Ohio State football had 13 players among the 42 Buckeye student-athletes who graduated on Sunday.

Of the 13 football players, 10 are members of the 2025 Ohio State team who earned bachelor’s degrees. Those were defensive ends Caden Curry, Kenyatta Jackson Jr. and C.J. Hicks, long snapper John Ferlmann, cornerback Davison Igbinosun, defensive linemnan Tywone Malone Jr., kicker Jayden Fielding and walk-ons Collin Johnson and Mason Maggs.

The other three were former Buckeye walk-ons who are no longer members of the football team, defensive linemen Bryce and Zach Prater and running back Cayden Saunders.

Ohio State basketball was also represented among the graduates, with star guard Bruce Thornton receiving a degree from the men’s team, as well as Kennedy Cambridge from the women’s team, and former women’s basketball player Eboni Walker.
