Marvin Harrison Jr. Not Expected To Participate In Ohio State’s Pro Day
Ohio State’s Pro Day is set for Wednesday afternoon, but one former Buckeye not expected to take the field is wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.
According to a report from NFL reporter Albert Breer, Harrison informed teams ahead of Pro Day that he will not participate in on-field drills.
Harrison, expected to be the first non-quarterback off the board in the NFL Draft, also declined to participate in on-field drills at the NFL Scouting Combine a few weeks back. With Harrison reportedly sitting things out, there will a lack of representation from higher ups in the NFL, as the Buckeyes are lacking much of the start power that highlighted last year’s Pro Day led by quarterback C.J. Stroud, who wound up going second overall to the Houston Texans.
While Harrison will not take the field, other Buckeyes expected to participate include defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr., linebackers Steele Chambers and Tommy Eichenberg, offensive lineman Matt Jones, running back Miyan Williams, safety Josh Proctor, tight end Cade Stover and wide receiver Xavier Johnson.
Also taking part in Pro Day will be quarterbacks Will Howard and Devin Brown, who will throw during the event for receivers.
