Kevin McGuff Arrested For Driving Under The Influence In Dublin

Ohio State women’s basketball coach Kevin McGuff was arrested in Dublin, Ohio on the evening of May 6 for driving under the influence.

McGuff was arrested after he failed multiple sobriety tests and drove through someone’s yard and hit several curbs according to an arrest report obtained by NBC 4.

McGuff is facing a misdemeanor charge of OVI and has a hearing scheduled for Tuesday, according to Dublin Mayor’s Court Filings.

In a statement released on Monday, Ohio State athletics said they were aware of the incident involving McGuff.            

“The department is in communication with Coach McGuff and monitoring the situation closely. This is an ongoing, personal legal matter, and the department will share additional information at the appropriate time,” Ohio State said.
