Jeremiah Smith, Carnell Tate, Max Klare Make Biletnikoff Award Watch List

Ohio State’s great pass catchers recognized on Wednesday when Jeremiah Smith, Carnell Tate and Max Klare were all included on the Biletnikoff Award watch list.
The award goes to the top pass catcher in the country each year.
Smith is coming off of his record breaking freshman season when he had 76 catches for 1,315 yards and 15 touchdowns through the air and many view him as the top returning pass catcher in college football.
Tate had 52 catches for 733 yards and four scores in the 2023 season as a sophomore with Smith and Emeka Egbuka both eclipsing 1,000 yards ahead of him.
Klare will be in his first season with the Buckeyes after having 51 catches for 685 yards and four touchdowns last season with Purdue.
The last Ohio State wide receiver to win the Biletnikoff Award was Marvin Harrison Jr., who did so in 2023. Terry Glenn is the only other OSU receiver to win it (1995). Colorado wide receiver/defensive back Travis Hunter won it in 2024.
