Georgia Transfer Defensive Back Dominick Kelly Commits To Ohio State

Ohio State has received yet another commitment in the secondary as Georgia defensive back Dominick Kelly transferred to Ohio State Thursday night, according to Letterman Row.
A product of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., Kelly was ranked as the No. 374 overall prospect, the No. 38 cornerback and the 52nd-ranked player in the state of Florida in the class of 2024, per 247Sports’ Composite rankings.
In his lone season with the Bulldogs in 2025, Kelly played 61 total defensive snaps, racking up three total tackles and three pass breakups. Kelly allowed three catches for 73 yards and a touchdown last year.
Kelly and Calhoun’s additions strengthen Ohio State’s cornerback room after the Buckeyes lost Aaron Scott Jr. and Bryce West (Wisconsin) to the transfer portal. Kelly will battle Calhoun, top-15 recruits Jordan Thomas and Jay Timmons, returning senior Jermaine Mathews Jr. and freshman Devin Sanchez for roles in the rotation.
Kelly is the 15th transfer to commit to Ohio State in 2026 and the fourth player in the secondary joining Alabama cornerback Cam Calhoun, Duke safety Terry Moore and Florida State safety Earl Little Jr.
The 6-1, 175-pound Kelly will have three seasons of eligibility remaining.
