Four-Star Athlete Legend Bey Flips From Ohio State Back To Tennessee

Ohio State had another commitment flip on the first day of the early signing period, when Forney (Texas) North four-star athlete Legend Bey flipped to Tennessee and signed with the Volunteers.
Bey was a late flip for Ohio State, decommitting from the Volunteers and pledging to the Buckeyes on Nov. 10, but now he has gone back on his decision and will play in Knoxville next season.
Bey is the second flip in the 2026 class after Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei four-star wide receiver Kayden Dixon-Wyatt signed with USC on Wednesday.
Bey is considered the No. 175 prospect in the country, the No. 9 athlete and the No. 24 player in Texas. He was being recruited by Ohio State to be somewhat of a hybrid receiver and running back gadget player while also playing a big part on special teams, likely as a returner, but now he will be with Tennessee.
There are still two Ohio State commitments who have not yet signed, with Fort Wayne (Ind.) Northrop four-star wide receiver Jerquaden Guilford and Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei five-star wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. both still holding off.
Those two waiting is very likely due to the news that offensive coordinator/wide receivers coach Brian Hartline is leaving to be the head coach at South Florida.
