Former OSU Receiver Terry McLaurin Signs Three-Year Extension With Washington Commanders

Former Ohio State receiver Terry McLaurin finally has a new contract. After missing almost all of the Commanders’ training camp and preseason as a hold-in, McLaurin signed a new three-year contract extension with the Washington Commanders on Monday worth up to $96 million, according to multiple reports.
McLaurin, a Buckeye from 2014-18, has been one of the most consistent receivers in the NFL since he was drafted by Washington in the 2019 NFL draft.
The two-time Pro Bowler has totaled at least 1,000 yards receiving in each of his last five seasons with the Commanders. Last year, McLaurin hauled in 82 catches for 1,096 yards and a career-high 13 touchdowns while helping the team make the NFC Championship game.
With his new extension signed, McLaurin can now shift his focus to helping his team in its quest for its first Super Bowl since 1991.
