Former Ohio State Wide Receiver Quincy Porter Transfers To Notre Dame

Following just one season with Ohio State, former five-star wideout Quincy Porter has transferred to Notre Dame, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
A product of Oradell, (N.J.) Bergen Catholic’s Porter was originally ranked as the No. 23 overall recruit, the No. 5 wide receiver, and the top player in the state of New Jersey in the class of 2024, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. In the 2026 transfer class, Porter was 247Sports’ No. 41 overall transfer and the 11th-ranked wideout.
The 6-4, 210-pound receiver battled injuries during his lone season with the Buckeyes, while sitting behind Ohio State’s star wideouts Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate.
Porter appeared in just four games and recorded four receptions for 59 yards for Ohio State. He will have four seasons of eligibility remaining with the Irish.
Fellow Buckeye wide receiver Mylan Graham, who entered the transfer portal Jan. 5, has also shown interest in Notre Dame, though Ohio State is working to retain the former five-star prospect.
