Former Ohio State Wide Receiver Bryson Rodgers Reportedly Transferring to South Florida

A second Buckeye has left Ohio State to follow Brian Hartline to South Florida.
Former Ohio State wide receiver Bryson Rodgers has reportedly transferred to South Florida, according to On3’s Pete Nakos and Hayes Fawcett.
Rodgers spent three seasons at Ohio State, though he struggled to get on the field at times in the Buckeyes’ stacked receiver room. Rodgers totaled his best marks at Ohio State in 2025, hauling in six catches for 79 yards and a touchdown, his lone score as a Buckeye.
The 6-2, 192-pound receiver caught 11 passes for 125 yards and one touchdown in his career at Ohio State.
Rodgers joins defensive end C.J. Hicks was the second Ohio State player to jump ship with former Buckeye offensive coordinator Brian Hartline in Miami, Fla.
Rodgers became the first Buckeye to enter the transfer portal, doing so on Dec. 18, 2025, just weeks ahead of Ohio State’s College Football Playoff quarterfinal loss.
