Former Ohio State Receiver Terry McLaurin Breaks 100 Yards In First NFL Game

It may be his first game, but Terry McLaurin is already finding success at the professional level.

McLaurin, a five-year wide receiver for Ohio State and consistent leader of both the offense and the special teams, got the start for the Washington Redskins in his first NFL game, even with having not a single catch during the preseason.

And McLaurin immediately impressed, finishing with five receptions for a team-high 125 yards and a touchdown in a 32-27 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

The highlight of McLaurin’s game came on his touchdown, which was for 70 yards to make it 17-0.

McLaurin finished his Ohio State career with 75 total receptions for 1,251 yards and 19 touchdowns. He was picked in the third round, No. 76 overall by Washington in the 2019 draft, the team that also selected former Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins.
