Former Ohio State Linebacker Darron Lee Arrested On Charges Of First-Degree Murder

Former Ohio State linebacker Darron Lee was arrested on charges of first-degree murder on Thursday.
According to multiple reports, the 31-year-old was arrested by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s office in Tennessee after his girlfriend was found dead inside a home near Ooltewah.
First-responders were called onto the scene after a report that CPR was in progress on an adult female. Upon arrival, first-responders attempted life-saving measures, but the victim was pronounced dead.
Investigators arrested Lee after preliminary findings indicated the woman’s death was the result of a homicide.
Lee was charged with first-degree murder and tampering with evidence.
Lee played for Ohio State from 2013-15. He was a two-year starter before being selected in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the New York Jets.
