Five-Star Safety Bralan Womack Commits To Auburn

Ohio State missed on its top remaining target in the 2026 class when five-star safety Bralan Womack committed to Auburn on Thursday.
He chose the Tigers over the Buckeyes, Florida and Texas A&M. Womack is the No. 15 prospect and the No. 1 safety according to 247Sports composite rankings.
The Buckeyes already have five-star Blaine Bradford and four-star Simeon Caldwell in their 2026 safety group, but Womack would have secured OSU’s safety class as the best in the cycle if they would have been able to hold on to those three.
Ohio State seemed to be Womack’s top choice at one point, but Auburn’s aggressive approach toward landing the top safety worked out later on in the process.
