First Look At OSU’s Fall Camp

Ohio State’s first three practices of fall camp were closed to the media amid the Urban Meyer investigation, but the program’s social media team provided a first glance at the 2018 Buckeyes in a video posted to Twitter on Monday morning.

Ohio State opened practice on Aug. 3 under the direction of acting head coach Ryan Day before returning to the field on Saturday and Sunday this weekend. The video, which can be found in the tweet below, didn’t specify what day the highlights were from.

Fifth-year senior wide receiver Parris Campbell, a key leader and of the Ohio State’s team captains, can be seen getting his teammates ready for practice early in the clip.

“This is the start of the moment we’re all going to remember forever, for the rest of our lives,” Campbell says.

The video features, among other things, clips of running backs J.K. Dobbins and Mike Weber going through drills, defensive end Nick Bosa exploding off the block and highlight-reel plays by freshman cornerback Tyreke Johnson and sophomore wide receiver Binjimen Victor.

An update regarding potential media availability going forward in fall camp is expected Monday.
