Colts Take Lewis In Second Round Of 2018 NFL Draft

Former Ohio State defensive end Tyquan Lewis went in the second round (64th overall) of the 2018 NFL draft to the Indianapolis Colts on Friday night.

Lewis, who graduated in December 2016 with his degree in sociology and came back for a fifth year, played in as many games as any Buckeye in history – 55. The 6-3, 269-pound Tarboro, N.C., native was a two-time team captain for OSU who started 36 times and finished his career with 112 tackles, including 36½ tackles for loss and 23½ sacks. He also had five pass break-ups, five forced fumbles and six quarterback hurries. Lewis, who was selected twice to the All-Big Ten’s first-team by the coaches and media, ranks fifth all-time in Ohio State history in career sacks and 15th in career TFL.
