Clark Kellogg To Ring Victory Bell Before Ohio State’s Matchup With Ohio

Former Ohio State men’s basketball star Clark Kellogg will ring the victory bell before Ohio State’s matchup against Ohio on Saturday.
He was honored earlier in the week when he was enshrined into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame by receiving the Curt Gowdy Media Award.
Kellogg played with the Buckeyes from 1979-82, playing in 86 games and averaging 14.9 points in those three seasons. He would be drafted by the Indiana Pacers eighth overall in the 1982 NBA draft and spent five seasons with the team, with which he scored 18.9 points per game before retiring due to chronic knee problems.
He became more well-known as a broadcaster when he started covering the NCAA Tournament for CBS Sports in 1993, serving as the lead basketball analyst from 2008-14, including calling Final Four games.
Kellogg is the third former Buckeye to ring the victory bell this season before the game, joining two-time Heisman winner Archie Griffin, who did so before the Buckeyes beat Texas 14-7 in Week 1, and former head coach John Cooper, who rang the bell before the 70-0 win over Grambling State in Week 2.
