Recently we revisited the 1969 Rose Bowl in our Throwback Film Study, studying Ohio State’s defensive strategy against USC’s “I” formation and Heisman Trophy running back O.J. Simpson.

Following the Throwback Film Study by BSB’s Patrick Mayhorn, we delved through the Buckeye Sports Bulletin archives and uncovered our 1968 Championship Yearbook, originally published for the 25th anniversary of the ‘68 national championship.

This installment of BSB Reprints includes a feature on the change in Woody Hayes’ approach to sophomores and an inside look into the Buckeyes’ locker room after winning the Rose Bowl to secure the national title.
