Brice Sensabaugh Sets NBA Summer League Single-Game Points Record

Former Ohio State guard Brice Sensabaugh set a Salt Lake Summer League record on Monday with 37 points in the Utah Jazz’ 112-111 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on a 9 for 14 shooting performance.
Sensabaugh knocked down six three-pointers in the game and went 13 for 14 from the free throw line. He needed just 27 minutes to reach those heights, also adding four rebounds, two steals and an assist in the game.
The former Buckeye played in 71 games with the Jazz last season and averaged 10.9 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per contest, proving to be a valuable asset on a team that finished in last place in the Western Conference with a 17-65 record.
He imporved in his second season in the league, after a rookie season in which he scored 7.5 points per game while adding 3.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 32 games.
Sansabaugh played just one year at Ohio State, averaging 16.3 points per game during the 2022-23 season as a freshman before entering the NBA draft. He’s one of three former Buckeyes playing in the summer league this year, joining EJ Liddell, who is with the Denver Nuggets, and Micah Parrish, who is playing with the Chicago Bulls summer league team.
