Braxtin Miller Gets Transfer Waiver Approved, Will Play For Ohio State This Season

Just two days before the season opens, Ohio State announced that former Oklahoma State guard Braxtin Miller’s waiver has been approved, and she will be able to play for the Buckeyes in the 2019-20.

Miller is a 5-11 junior who finished No. 2 on the Cowgirls in scoring last season with 14.7 points per game. She also added 4.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game while starting in all 30 games as a sophomore.

She started 59 of her 62 games while at Ohio State, and is now one of three upperclassmen eligible to play for Ohio State, with senior guard Jensen Caretti and senior forward Savitha Jayaraman being the others.

Miller was a two-time All-Big 12 honorable mention and was on the Big 12 All-Freshman team. She was a three-star prospect out of Archbishop Alter high school and is originally from Centerville, Ohio.

She is immediately eligible to play for the Buckeyes this Sunday against Valparaiso in the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame Classic.
