Big Ten Will Allow 8,000 In Attendance For Men’s Basketball Tournament

The Big Ten announced Thursday that there will be a maximum capacity of 8,000 people for the men’s basketball tournament, which will take place in Lucas Oil Stadium, the typical home stadium for the Indianapolis Colts and the current location for the Big Ten Championship in football.

“Fans attending the Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament are encouraged to become familiar with health and safety procedures at Lucas Oil Stadium,” the statement read. “The venue has instituted numerous health and safety procedures for all events, including requirements for fans and stadium employees on game days. These procedures were designed to meet local and CDC guidelines to help limit the spread of COVID-19 as the health and safety of our student-athletes, coaches, officials, fans and campus communities remain our highest priority.”

The tickets available for the game are set at three price points: $210 for 500/600 level seats, $290 for 300/400 level seats and $400 for 100/200 level seats.

Ohio State is currently ranked as the 5-seed in the tournament and would play the winner of the matchup between No. 12 Minnesota and No. 13 Northwestern.
