Availability Report: Jeremiah Smith And Carnell Tate Out Against Rutgers

Ohio State will be without its two star wide receivers in the final game remaining before the Buckeyes match up against Michigan.

Both Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate are listed as out on the Ohio State injury report, meaning that the Buckeyes will need the group of Mylan Graham, Bryson Rodgers and possibly David Adolph to step up against the Scarlet Knights.

Smith started last week’s game against UCLA, but left late in the first half and didn’t return. He was seen after the game limping to the locker room. Tate has missed the last two games, not listed on the injury report against Purdue on Nov. 8, but being held out of the game.

This will now be Tate’s third game he has missed. The two receivers were included at semifinalists for the Biletnikoff Award earlier this week.

Quincy Porter is also out for the Buckeyes on Saturday, so the wide receiver depth is impacted as well.
