5-Star 2020 Wide Receiver Has Ohio State In Top 5

Ohio State already has two four-star wide receivers committed in the 2020 class, but the Buckeyes are still among the favorites for one of the nation’s top recruits at the position.

Calabasas, Calif., five-star receiver Johnny Wilson (6-5, 215) released his top five schools over the weekend, listing the Buckeyes with Washington, Texas, Oregon and UCLA.

Wilson is rated as the No. 18 overall prospect and No. 2 receiver in his class in the 247Sports composite. The Buckeyes also hold commitments from Sammamish (Wash.) Eastside Catholic four-star Gee Scott, the No. 70 overall player and No. 15 receiver, and Rockwall, Texas, four-star Jaxon Smith-Njigba, the No. 330 overall player and No. 67 wideout.
